Jeep Safari is the foremost activity in Gir National Park and Devaliya Safari Park. The safaris are organized by the state forest department and are for approximately 3 hours in Gir and 55 minutes in Devaliya which take tourists deep inside the safari zones to explore the fauna and flora of the park. Tourists embarking on an open jeep safari within the park are escorted by a guide and driver who are approved by the forest department. The safari starts at the "Sinh Sadan" boarding point, where visitors are required to check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled safari time.
